Christopher Wood Biography
Legal Assistant Christopher Wood is a Tacoma native, having been born and raised in University Place. He is a graduate of Curtis Senior High and current student at the University of Washington Tacoma. Chris will be graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in the spring of 2021. He hopes to be starting law school in the fall of 2022.
The University of Washington has prepared Chris to tackle all legal challenges with a broader understanding of the criminal justice system and a focus on social justice. He believes that everyone deserves equal and fair representation under the law and in defending the rights of the accused.
Chris is a Marine Corps veteran who served 5 years honorably. Domestically he served in California, Texas, and Virginia. He also had the life changing experience of serving 2 years in Okinawa, Japan. The United States Marine Corps has instilled in Chris the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, honesty, integrity, and adaptability. These skills prepare him for any legal challenge. As a former Non-Commissioned Officer Chris understands both how to lead and how to follow and applies those lessons everyday by taking charge of his tasks and ensuring that our office tackles every challenge as a team.
Chris is a zealous advocate for protecting every client’s constitutional rights, safeguarding the integrity of attorney client privilege, and ensuring that no client ever feels unheard. In his free time Chris enjoys traveling, hiking, music, dancing, spending time with his loving wife, and playing with his Corgi, Hamilton.
