Natalie Durflinger – Criminal Defense Attorney

Tacoma Criminal Defense Attorney Natalie Durflinger was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. After graduating from the University of Washington with honors, she attended Gonzaga University School of Law. Based on her excellent performance at the University of Washington, Gonzaga offered her a prestigious Thomas More Scholarship. This honor is reserved for students in the top 10% of their class.
As a Thomas More Scholar, Natalie dedicated herself to helping others both in the local and international communities.  Her international work included public service in Rome, Italy where she provided help to the homeless. She also co-lead a mission in Honduras where her group of students provided much needed repairs at local village schools. The group also distributed school supplies which they had purchased through various fundraising activities.
Natalie participated in fundraising to provide food and clothing for local and international families in need. She also volunteered her time for groups such as Habitat for Humanity, the Northwest Women’s Law Center and the Martin Luther King Community Centers. Natalie is grateful for all the opportunities life has given her, and she is constantly looking for ways to help others.
While attending law school, Natalie worked as a volunteer with the criminal defense attorneys at the Spokane Public Defender’s Office. She also helped organize and promote Continuing Legal Education for local attorneys.
Natalie has always been passionate about protecting rights. She founded the American Civil Liberties Union – WA Gonzaga School of Law Chapter. Natalie was responsible for planning and hosting speaking engagements, debates and presentations to educate the community on current constitutional issues. Her ACLU Chapter also educated individuals about their legal rights. Her experience as an ACLU volunteer contributed to her standing in the community as an aggressive Criminal Defense Attorney.
After graduating with honors from Gonzaga University, School of Law, Natalie relocated to Western Washington where she continues representing persons accused of DUI, Domestic Violence and other criminal offenses. Natalie has represented thousands of clients in matters ranging from simple driving offenses to serious felonies.
